Requirements
Entrance Requirements
To enroll in the distance education program, the student must possess a baccalaureate degree (or its equivalent in the case of international students) from an approved institution. Students having less than a 2.5 cumulative average in their undergraduate work may be admitted on academic restriction. For further information on admission requirements and procedures, consult the Grace Theological Seminary section of the Grace Catalog or call the Office of Graduate Admissions. Students accepted in the Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies are expected to be involved in the ministry of their local church and endorsed by the church leadership. Active involvement in discipling or mentoring is required for completion of the program.
Academic Requirements
A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or above for the entire course of study is required for graduation. Equivalent course work from an accredited master’s program may be transferred into this program, but students must take at least 50% of their program at Grace to graduate. Advanced Standing credits may be applied to this program for comparable course work taken at an accredited institution.
